ProSound Alpha 6

Next Generation Imaging and Award Winning Universal Design

The ProSound Alpha 6 brings outstanding image quality, award winning design, unprecedented feature-rich performance, and ease of use to the office market.
Building on the ProSound technology strengths, this compact system offers high-end features and technologies in an easy-to-use, affordable and environmentally friendly system. The ProSound Alpha 6’s high power processor allows a number of imaging modes previously seen only in high-end systems. The system supports a full range of probes and software, designed to support better diagnostics and patient care. Additionally, the ProSound Alpha 6 is fully upgradeable and easy-to-use.

 Features

  • Award Winning Universal Design
Winner of the International Forum product design award.
Ergonomically designed to help prevent user musculoskeletal injuries.
Customizable touch screen and panel switches and multi-function controls.
Height adjustable control panel and swivel/tilt LCD monitor.
  • 3D/4D Imaging (Optional)
    Multi-planar Reconstruction (MPR)
    3D Automated Volume Measurement (AVM)
    Multi Slice Imaging (MSI)
    Color Flow 3D
  • Broadband Harmonics™
Broadband Harmonics™ technology provides high penetration imaging with the sensitivity and resolution that rivals fundamental imaging. BbH reduces artifacts caused by side lobes and multiple echoes.
  • Adaptive Image Processing (AIP)
AIP clearly displays differences in tissues and reduces speckle noise while maintaining the frame rate.
  • Spatial Compound Imaging (SCI)
SCI reduces artifacts dependent on the beam direction and generates better definition.
  • Image Optimizer
Instant optimization of the B-mode image brightness.
  • Directional eFLOW™ (D-eFLOW)
D-eFLOW allows blood flow in tiny vessels to be displayed with higher sensitivity and higher frame rates than conventional blood flow methods. High and low velocity flow can be detected with virtually no blooming.
  • Color Flow, Power Flow and Spectral Doppler
  • Free Angular M-Mode (FAM)
Three M-Mode cursors can be set at any position and angle simultaneously, eliminating the complication of trying to achieve these measurements with conventional M-mode.
  • Extended Field of View (EFV)
EFV provides a panoramic image of the entire anatomical structure.
  • Environmentally Friendly
Low power consumption and made from ecology-conscious materials.
  • Compact
The lightest and smallest footprint in its class allowing for excellent portability.

ProSound Alpha 5SX

 A Higher Level of Performance

The Alpha 5 is a high-level imaging system offering enhanced spatial, contrast and time resolution. You will observe superior image quality with its 12-bit A/D Digital Beam converter that offers high contrast resolution for displaying minute clinical information, High-density Digital front-end which provides superior penetration performance at a higher imaging frequency, Pure Sound Transmission which eliminates unnecessary signal components to enhance the sensitivity and resolution in both fundamental-frequency and tissue harmonics imaging, and Hemispheric Sound Technology which reduces side lobe artifacts in two directions to improve the sharpness of the emitted ultrasound beam.

Features

  • Quint Frequency Imaging allows you to select the optimal frequency range within a wide frequency band
  • PixelFocus™ technology provides focus down to the pixel level to provide incredible resolution
  • D-THE (Definitive Tissue Harmonic Echo) provides superb Harmonic imaging by reducing the distortion in transmission waveforms and minimizing the mixing of noise with harmonic images for improved tissue differentiation, especially in technically difficult scanning situations
  • Image Processing Selections provide a range of pre-set functions for all modes using easy rotary control
  • Full Dynamic Range, ColorFlow and PowerFlow
  • Dual Dynamic Display for real-time simultaneous split-screen display of B-Mode B/Flow M
  • Real Time Free Angular M-Mode for multi positioning of M-Mode lines
  • Supersensitive Adjustable CW Doppler mode
